Deze prachtige stad ligt gelegen in het noorden van Portugal en staat bekend als het Rome van Portugal. De stad beschikt over indrukwekkende architectuur, waaronder verschillende kerken en kloosters. Braga is one of the oldest cities in Portugal. The Portuguese called it Roma because it was a center of ecclesiastical power. Even though it is an old city it has a young spirit, so much so that in 2012 it was pronounced the European Youth Capital.
